Langley Orchestra is proud to announce that two Saxon string players were selected to represent us this year. They completed a highly competitive video audition process, and now will participate in the virtual event that will be held during the last weekend of April:
Otto Janke (senior) will play in the viola section for the first time this year.
Alyssa Kim (senior) will play in the 1st violin section as she has for all four of her years of eligibility (a rare accomplishment).
In addition, Alyssa was selected to lead the orchestra as Concertmaster, which means she was the top-rated violinist in the entire state of Virginia!
