Langley Orchestra students enjoy their twice-a-year car wash fundraisers, one spring car wash and one fall car wash at the McLean BP located at 1423 Chain Bridge Rd. Our annual Car Wash Fundraiser showcased the dedication and teamwork of Langley Orchestra students. Rather than simply asking for donations, students rolled up their sleeves and worked hard: washing, drying, and shining cars under the sun to earn support for their program. The event not only raised funds for orchestra activities but also reflected the students’ strong work ethic, responsibility, and appreciation for the community’s generosity. Every sparkling car represented hours of effort, teamwork, and pride in supporting the music program they love.
Student volunteers at the car wash will be eligible for service hours for Tri-M or other organizations if they sign up and work one or more shift(s) (10:00-12:00, 12:00-02:00 or 02:00-4:00), and sign in and out on that day. Student should sign up for one of the three shifts in Orchestra class. Parent volunteers are needed to help staff the car wash as well as contributions to provide some snacks for our hard-working students!
