“Filmscore Composers” to premiere Saturday!
Thanks to the amazing work of Riker Wilson (’21) and his tech team, LHS Orchestra will premiere the first set of collaborative distance recordings for the 2020-21 school year entitled “Filmscore Composers” this Saturday, November 21, at 7:00 pm ET on YouTube. The link will be made available here by Saturday afternoon. Please join us as we premiere our first recording of the school year!

U.S. Army Orchestra Young Artist Competition
The competition is open to highly qualified musicians in grades 9-12. One winner will be chosen from each division, Strings Division and Winds/Brass/Percussion Division. Applications are due by February 7, 2021.

Halloween Costume Competition
Students decided on costume themes with their orchestra class family groups for a virtual Halloween costume competition. Groups shared their spooky creations with the rest of the orchestra, and below are some fan favorites. Special thanks to Ulaina Ahn for managing the competition and compiling the photos!
