Thanks for a great picnic!
It was great to see all the families who came out to the Orchestra’s Kick-off Potluck Picnic yesterday at McLean Central Park. Special thanks to our Hospitality Chairs Amy Prewett and Nina Chee, and for the many volunteers who helped to set up, keep things moving smoothly, and clean up afterwards. What a wonderful and delicious variety of foods to kick off the new year!
We hope that everyone met at least a few new people, and students were able to hang out a little bit in a casual environment.
Doc and his Doclings (Norah and Hugh) garnered a great following by introducing Flickin’ Chickens. Students from each grade competed and the Freshmen took first place!
For more photos from the picnic, check out our Shutterfly site, and feel free to upload any photos you are willing to share to that site.
