Thanks to the amazing work of Riker Wilson (’21) and his tech team, LHS Orchestra will premiere the first set of collaborative distance recordings for the 2020-21 school year entitled “Filmscore Composers” this Saturday, November 21, at 7:00 pm ET on YouTube. Halloween Costume Competition
Students decided on costume themes with their orchestra class family groups for a virtual Halloween costume competition. Groups shared their spooky creations with the rest of the orchestra, and below are some fan favorites. Special thanks to Ulaina Ahn for managing the competition and compiling the photos!

Congratulations to Students Selected for SRO
Congratulations to the Langley representatives to the Senior Regional Orchestra:
- Alyssa Kim, concertmistress;
- Katie Dzwonczyk, violin;
- Otto Janke, viola;
- Fay Shuai, cello.
These students were selected in an audition process that included all of the finest young musicians from Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria counties, and will also be eligible to audition for the All-Virginia program next year.
