Gingerbread House Competition

A big thank you to all of the students who showed up on December 1st, 2024, and a special thanks to LOS for providing us with the gingerbread house making materials! Thank you to Tri-M Presidents Edward Park and Amiliyia Smith for organizing and making this event happen, as Media Managers Chloe Lin and Lewis Le for taking amazing pictures, and the Tri-M officers for judging the competition!

The competitors were graded in 4 categories: Aesthetics, Creativity, Engineering, and Workplace Neatness. In the end, 3 top houses were chosen and each of the group’s members were given a reward. The number 1 pick was built by a group made up of juniors- well done!

Happy Holidays!

  1. Haha, the Gingerbread House Competition sounds delightful! Though I suspect the judges faced an impossible task, especially with the Engineering category – I bet some houses were more stable after the winter break than before! Good luck to the SRO and DHO auditions; Im sure everyone will be *well-prepared*, having printed out the materials during summer break (wink). And supporting LOS? Absolutely essential – think of it as an investment, because nothing says class like a slightly wobbly but aesthetically pleasing treat!
