Each year students in Langley Orchestra (and schools across the state) audition for coveted spots in the Virginia Band & Orchestra Directors Association’s Honor Ensembles. Langley HS is part of District XII in Virginia, and Virginia’s Northern Region.
Senior Regional Orchestra (SRO) – Senior Regional Auditions will take place on Tuesday, Sep 30, 2025 at Lake Braddock Secondary School. The SRO concert will be on November 13-15, 2025 at Westfield High School. Registration will open after the summer break, in August. Please talk to Doc in the Orchestra class to sign up for the audition. Auditions will be $10 per student.

District Honors Orchestra (DHO) audition this year will take place on November 18, 2025 at Carson Middle School. The concert will take place on January 9-10, 2026 at Langley High School.
